Here is a short list of resources included in my workshops for the Center for Teaching and Learning. This page will grow over time.

Software

Audacity Free recording software

Fast Stone Free screen capture software for home and educational use. It is simple and does the job. You can easily create an image with text to enhance both WebTycho and your PowerPoint presentations.

Impatica

Open Office - Open Source office suite

PowerPoint

Photo Story 3 - Photo Story is freely available on the Microsoft site if you have a legal copy of Microsoft windows. I recently made a little movie for a history class. If you would like to see it, click here. It will take a few minutes to load. Unfortunately, Photo Story like Media Encoder is not compatible with Apple.  Several tutorials are available on the web. Use your photos, exported PowerPoint slides as well as music to create some fantastic little presentations. Here's my short overview of Photo Story 3.
